What it is

The CEO framework, in a peer group

Corporate Coaching uses the same framework as our CEO Coaching program, Adding Zeros and the 5 Disciplines of Exponential Growth, but you work through it with a small group of fellow CEOs. You get expert coaching and the experience of peers who face the same pressures.

Corporate Coaching is

  • A 12-month program for CEOs of growing mid-sized companies
  • Monthly coaching in a small group of three to four CEOs
  • Quarterly and annual planning with all the CEOs on the program
  • Built on Adding Zeros and the 5 Disciplines of Exponential Growth
  • A trusted network of fellow leaders

It is not

  • A networking club without a plan
  • A lecture or seminar series
  • A one-off planning day
  • One-to-one coaching: that is CEO Coaching

Your year

Monthly, quarterly, annually

Small-group coaching every month keeps you moving. Larger planning days bring all the program’s CEOs together to plan, share and build relationships.

  • Monthly group coaching

One hour, three to four CEOs

A focused hour with your coach and a small group of fellow CEOs: progress on your goals, the strategy to work on next, and honest feedback from peers who know what leading a company takes.

  • Between sessions

    Focus and goals

A short focus sheet keeps your goals, wins and challenges in view, with monthly goals that line up with your 90-day and 12-month plans.

  • Quarterly planning day

    One day, every quarter

All the CEOs on the program meet to share wins and lessons, sharpen their strategy and leave with a clear plan for the next 90 days.

  • Annual planning workshop

    Two days, once a year

Two days to step back, look at where the company stands across the five disciplines and commit to an action plan for the year ahead.

The 5 Disciplines of Exponential Growth

Five disciplines, one growing company

Adding Zeros means growing key numbers such as revenue, profit and customer satisfaction by multiples, not by a few percent. Your group works on these five disciplines all year, drawing on strategies from the ActionCOACH Exponential Growth Chart.

  • Strategy

    Builds sustainability

Sharpen your vision, find the biggest opportunities and build a clear plan around leverage, scalability and marketability, one that everyone in the company understands and works towards.

  • Business development

    Builds predictability

Marketing, sales and customer service that bring in the right customers, close deals consistently and keep customers coming back, plus partnerships and new ideas that open new revenue streams.

  • People

    Builds stability

Strong leadership, talent development and recruitment, so you have a capable, committed team that shares the company’s goals and values and is ready for the growth ahead.

  • Execution

    Builds consistency

Where strategy meets action: clear goals, tracked progress, efficient processes, sound management and solid financial controls, so results are reliable and repeatable.

  • Mission

    Builds connection

Clear values, a real purpose and giving back, so your team, customers and community feel connected to what the company stands for.

The 5 Constituents

Five relationships every company depends on

Growth lasts when everyone who depends on the company benefits from it. Alongside the five disciplines, you strengthen the company’s relationship with each of these groups.

  • The company

    Profit and sustainability

A company built to outlast its current leaders, with profitable, long-term growth.

  • Your customers

    Satisfaction and loyalty

Customers who are well served, come back and recommend you, thanks to clear communication and consistent quality.

  • Your team

    Engagement and growth

People who are well led, keep developing and choose to stay, which lifts productivity and lowers turnover.

  • Your stakeholders

    Returns and transparency

Investors and owners who see strong financial performance, clear reporting and a return on their investment.

  • Your community

    Jobs and contribution

A good neighbour that creates jobs, pays its taxes and supports local causes, which strengthens your reputation.

FAQ

Corporate Coaching, answered

How many CEOs are in a group?

Three to four, so every CEO gets personal attention as well as the benefit of peer learning. The quarterly and annual planning workshops bring together all the CEOs on the program.

What does Adding Zeros mean?

Growing key numbers such as revenue, profit and customer satisfaction by multiples rather than percentages: literally adding a zero. It starts with believing the company can grow far beyond where it is now, and follows through with the five disciplines.

How is it different from CEO Coaching?

The framework and the tools are the same. In CEO Coaching your monthly sessions are one-to-one; in Corporate Coaching you share them with a small group of fellow CEOs and learn from their experience too.

How often do we meet?

One hour every month in your small group, a one-day planning workshop every quarter and a two-day planning workshop once a year.

Who else will be in the program?

CEOs of growing companies in our region, often from different industries. That mix brings fresh perspectives and a stronger local business network.

What happens at a quarterly planning day?

CEOs share their wins and lessons, work on strategy, look back at the last 90 days and build a clear plan for the next 90.

Is my company the right size?

The program is designed for mid-sized companies with the structure and market to grow much larger. Revenue is not the only guide: your ambition, growth potential and commitment matter just as much.

How do we start?

With a free strategy session. If the program fits, your leadership team completes an organisational assessment so you know where to focus first, and you join a CEO group.

How much does it cost?

Ask us for the current fee. After your strategy session, your coach gives you a clear written fee before you decide.
