DISC 360°

See yourself as others see you

DISC 360° compares how you see your own behaviour with how your manager, your peers and your team see it. Where the views match, you know your strengths. Where they don’t, you find the blind spots a self-assessment can never show.

  • Your view and theirs
  • Manager, peers and team
  • For leaders and managers

What a 360 is

Your view is one side of the story

We judge ourselves by our intentions; others judge us by our behaviour. A 360° assessment asks you and the people around you the same questions about how you work, then puts the answers side by side. The gaps are where real development starts.

A 360 shows you

  • Where others see you the way you see yourself
  • Strengths others notice that you undervalue
  • Blind spots you can’t see from the inside
  • How you come across to different groups

A 360 is not

  • A performance review or appraisal
  • A popularity vote
  • A one-off event with no follow-up
  • A verdict on you as a person

Who gives feedback

How it works

Four steps from feedback to action

Feedback only helps when you act on it, so the last step matters most.

  1. 1 Choose who gives feedback Agree with us who will take part: your manager, peers and team members.
  2. 2 Everyone answers You and the people you chose answer the same questions about how you work.
  3. 3 Get your report See your view and theirs side by side, with the strengths and the gaps.
  4. 4 Put it to work Talk the results through, choose what to work on and check your progress later. A coach can take you through it.

FAQ

Questions about DISC 360°

How is a 360 different from a self-assessment?

A self-assessment shows only how you see yourself. A 360 adds how others experience your behaviour, which is often where the most useful insight is.

Who should give feedback?

People who work with you often: usually your manager, a few peers and the people who report to you. Choose people who will be honest.

Is it a performance review?

No. It is for your development, not for pay or appraisal decisions. Keeping the two apart makes honest feedback more likely.

What if the feedback is hard to hear?

That is common, and useful. Treat the report as the start of a conversation, ideally with a coach, and stay curious about why others see you that way.

How often should I do it?

Usually once a year, or sooner after a big change in your role or team.

How much does it cost?

It depends on how many people are being assessed. Ask us and we will give you a clear fee.
