What Kids DISC is

Every child is wired a little differently

Some children charge ahead, some chat with everyone, some look after their friends and some like to get things exactly right. Kids DISC puts words to these natural styles, so children understand themselves and the adults around them understand them better.

Kids DISC helps you see

  • How your child likes to act and decide
  • How they communicate and make friends
  • What helps them learn and feel confident
  • How to support them when things are hard

Kids DISC is not

  • A measure of intelligence or talent
  • A label that decides who they will become
  • A diagnosis of any learning or behaviour difficulty

No. It describes how your child tends to behave today, in positive words. Children grow and change, and every child uses all four styles.

Is one style better than another?

No. Each style has real strengths. The aim is to understand your child, not to change who they are.

Can teachers use it?

Yes. Understanding the styles in a class helps teachers plan group work, give instructions and handle conflict.
